MDF upgraded our older model color printer to a state-of-the-art DocuColor 6060. A digital printer, it is PANTONE® licensed, which means better color match capabilities with more accurate and consistent color control. It also has a variable print function so we can change graphics, layouts, and text on every page so that you can market to a specific audience while leveraging the impact of color.

According to Xerox Production Solutions Business Unit Vice President Mark Waxenberg, the DocuColor 6060 is a “… powerful and successful digital press (with) a rocket boost". He goes on to say “these enhancements improve capabilities to create the best printed piece, from the beginning of the process to the finished product."

Ed Burke, MDF’s Vice President, states that it is the newest generation printer which rivals offset in most instances. Ed says that the comparison to our former color printer is remarkable, with brighter colors and more precise color definition. We can now offer customer-specific messages with image-rich content and data-driven charts.

The addition of this color printer to our black-and-white digital printers, coupled with our database management expertise, will empower you to customize your letters, invoices, and statements with personalized information so you can market to your customers on a one-to-one basis. This technology is ideal for customer loyalty programs, prospecting for new customers, and speed to market programs. It is perfect for those documents with a short shelf life such as introductory offers, specific marketing campaigns and sweepstakes or those with frequent updates such as benefit statements, training programs and price lists. It virtually eliminates wasted collateral and reduces your printing inventories.
