Situation
A major producer of electronic connectors sells through a variety of distributors as well as direct to major retailers such as Lowes. Prior to meeting MDF, their distributor support was fragmented. Although it was managed internally, the literature and other materials were warehoused and distributed out of three different centers (their Corporate Distribution Center, a Lead/Fulfillment Company, and a Printer). These systems were not connected and the availability and reliability of reporting was minimal.
Solution
MDF analyzed the situation, and working with their Marketing staff, developed a solution that consolidated all literature in a single warehouse, integrated leads generated from advertising with an automatic response and tracking system, and provided a simplified method for dealers to order literature and have it shipped within 24 hours.
